Chetan Desai, MD

Dr. Desai obtained his medical degree from South Gujarat University, India. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine from Catholic Medical Center, Affiliated with Cornell University in New York. He completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology from Bronx-Lebanon Hospital affiliated with Albert Einstein Medical School in New York. Dr. Desai also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-certified in Gastroenterology. He has been in private practice in Pinellas County since 1992. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Desai practices all aspects of Gastroenterology with a special interest in colon cancer screening, therapeutic biliary endoscopy, small intestine capsule endoscopy, and liver disease.
