Navigation: | ![]() Dr. Kukreja completed medical school at LSU School of Medicine in his hometown, New Orleans, LA. He then travelled to Houston, TX to complete his Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Health Sciences Center.
After residency he moved to Tampa, FL, to complete his Gastroenterology & Hepatology fellowship at the University of South Florida. Throughout his training, Dr. Kukreja has worked at over 10 hospitals, providing him with a unique and broad exposure which will be an asset to his practice and patients.
Dr. Kukreja’s primary goal is to provide high quality and evidenced-based care. Throughout his training, he has presented over 40 abstracts at national conferences, including the prestigious Digestive Disease Week and American College of Gastroenterology conferences. He has also published numerous manuscripts in leading journals including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Clinical Endoscopy. His interest in academia and research allows him to provide the most up-to-date care to his patients.
As a clinician, Dr. Kukreja comfortably manages the full spectrum of gastroenterology disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis), GERD, liver diseases, small bowel disorders, pancreatobiliary disorders, Barrett’s esophagus, and gastrointestinal cancers.
